It is an honour and privilege to represent you on Belleville City Council. My focus has remained steadfast in ensuring your priorities for your community remain front and centre at City Hall. This next term requires an experienced Councillor that delivers results and understands the importance of strict financial responsibility to minimize any tax increases.

I will continue to protect current funding for a sustained focus on good roads, critical infrastructure as well as city parks and amenities.

I commit to continuing to protect your tax dollars by ensuring that city services and programs demonstrate value for money. While previously championing departmental key performance indicators, more work is required to develop results-based budgeting and enhanced customer service through an organizational and service delivery review.

It has been over 28 years since the former Thurlow Township amalgamated with the City of Belleville. The current ward system has remained since that time. Through the lens of promoting democracy, I will propose a third-party independent review of the ward system with a robust community consultation processand obtain resident input into how you would like to see the structure of your elected municipal government.

I will maintain my citizen-centred approach as a City Councillor by continuing to host both in-person and virtual tri-annual town hall ward meetings, and by maintaining a social media presence.
